Myleene Klass has told how she banged her head after blacking out while she was training for Dancing On Ice.

The musician and TV star was working on a spin when she suddenly blacked out and took a nasty fall, hitting her head on the ice.

She shared a clip on Instagram of the scary slip and, according to the Mirror, said she’d had a “mini-blackout”.

“I banged my head on the ice, I really did,” she was quoted as saying.

“I didn’t realise when it comes to spins you can have mini-blackouts when you get dizzy.

“We were doing one and when I watched the footage back, yeah, the next thing you see is I bang my head.

“I couldn’t believe it.”

That wasn’t the only mishap Klass has suffered since getting started on the ice-skating competition.

The 42-year-old - who is paired with professional partner Lukasz Rozycki – also suffered a knee injury during training.

The star tore her meniscus, a piece of cartilage in the knee, and is having to wear a support. And the mother-of-three admitted it hasn’t left her feeling her best.

"I feel almost embarrassed by my injury, because it's not very sexy. I feel like a nana,” The Sun quoted her as saying.

"It is very painful, but it's just not very sexy when you say your knees have gone.”

The new series of Dancing On Ice started this month, with Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo on the judging panel and Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield returning as hosts.

It airs on ITV on Sunday evenings.
