Motorist quickly escapes after his Ferrari bursts into flames

Footage has emerged of a Ferrari bursting into flames while driving along a road in China.

The video, filmed in the city of Dongyang in Zhejiang Province, shows a ball of fire suddenly emerging from the back of the speeding vehicle.

Firefighters used a water hose to extinguish the blaze but half of the car was completely charred.

According to reports, the motorist sped the Ferrari along the section of the road back and forth several times before the flames began bursting out of the exhaust pipe.

After the motorist noticed the smoke, he got out of the vehicle to check, but the fire quickly engulfed his car.
