There's no such thing as living below the line when you're David Beckham as it emerged the former Premier League footballer pays himself a very non-humble salary of £34k A DAY.

What could one man possibly spend £34k on a day?!

This is an obscene amount of money for a retiree.

Anyway, turns out the one they call "Goldenballs" earned a salary of £12.7million in the last year, just from his image rights and over the past five years, he's kicked goals in the bank to the tune of £45million.

Last weekend his London-based Footwork Productions Ltd took a loss (in laymans terms), charting a reported £6.28million drop in turnover during 2016, from £14.3million to £8.02million, with *just* £263,000 in assets compared to £7.21million in 2015.

Still, having raked in a personal fortune of a tidy £165m after his time as a key midfielder for Manchester United that unlocked a door to a world of endorsements, contracts and very, very lucrative football salaries with other clubs such as LA Galaxy - of which according to Forbes he earned a base salary of £9m in 2012 just to be on the field - and Real Madrid .

That dosh came in handy recently, with wife Victoria Beckham borrowing nearly £7million from the Bank of Beckham, to cash up the coffers of her fashion label that suffered a £4.6m loss.
