You can treat yourself without the guilt - if you get the right freebies. When you're trying to draw up a sensible budget, the advice is to cut back on little treats - like beers at the bar, coffee from a shop and posh toiletries. However, you don't have to give them up altogether, because you can get them for free.

We have free beers, free coffee, free designer makeup and free toiletries - so you can pamper yourself for nothing.

Free pint
There's a free pint available from the Ei group until Sunday 6 August. You'll need to register using a smartphone or tablet, and get a voucher to use before 6 August in any of the participating pubs. You can choose between Kronenbourg 1664, Fosters, John Smith's Extra Smooth or Strongbow Original. However, there's a catch: getting a voucher doesn't guarantee the freebie, because you'll need to be one of the first 15 to visit your chosen pub and redeem the offer. It means it's worth having a few options in the area when you go out, just in case they have sold out.

Free coffee
The users of hotukdeals.com have spotted that if you are on Vodafone, then you can get your hands on a free coffee from Costa. Just log into your My Vodafone app on your phone, and go into notifications. You should have the coffee deal waiting for you there.

Free shampoo
Charles Worthington is looking for people to join its beauty panel, and if you sign up and are accepted, you'll get a free Charles Worthington shampoo or conditioner. Once you're a member you'll get freebies and will be asked to try them and review them. The more reviews you post, the bigger and better the freebies get. The users of Latestdeals.co.uk point out that in order to take advantage, you'll need to have a Boots online account.

Free make-up minis
New users of cashback website Topcashback.co.uk can get their hands on a designer make-up freebie. You just pick up any Benefit make-up item, and you'll get the price - plus delivery - refunded. There's loads to choose from - including mascara, lip tint, a lip pencil and eye liner - all for £10.50 each plus £2.95 delivery. The cost will be refunded to your account within 14 days. Check the site for more information.

Free mascara
If you buy the August edition of Red magazine, you'll get a free 13ml Rodial Glamolash mascara. Of course, you'll need to part with £4.30 for the magazine, but given that the mascara usually costs £24, it's still an impressive freebie.
