Walmart apologise for using racial slur in product description

A product sold on Walmart's Website is getting a lot of attention because of this racial slur.

It's hard to miss in the description of a wig cap.

A third party company, Jagazi Naturals, listed the product on Walmart's marketplace.

One of the first to react on Twitter was comedian Travon Free.

He said: "Umm, @Walmart we need to have a chat,"

Walmart quickly reacted with a statement: "We are very sorry and appalled that this third party seller listed their item with this description on our online marketplace."

But Jagazi Naturals says it's not to blame either.

A spokesperson claims the UK based company had nothing to do with the slur and also apologized.

This story is not over. Walmart says it is investigating the post which has been taken down.
