Freebies for a sunny - or rainy - weekend

Dining freebies and deals for Dad
Bookatable, the online restaurant booking service, has highlighted that lots of its members are offering Father's Day freebies. So, for example, there are free drinks from Humble Grape in Battersea, Eneko at One Aldwych, Bella Italia, Las Iguanas, Cafe Rouge, Belgo and Prezzo. There's a free burger at Rocker's Steak House in Cambridge, a free dessert from Tuttons in Covent Garden, and 'dads eat free' at Muriel's Kitchen and Fire & Stone. It's worth checking the site to see if there's anything local to you.

Free milkshake
The users of have discovered that you can get two milkshakes for the price of one at a large number Krispy Kreme branches every Monday until 3rd July. You'll need to visit the site and print off the voucher, or show it on your phone. It's also worth checking whether your local branch is participating.

Free coffee pods
The users of have discovered that you can get a free sample of five Nespresso-compatible coffee pods from Roasters. All you have to do fill your details in online and five pods will be sent to you. The coffee is high-end, 100% Arabica, and ethically sourced from independent growers. When it launches in the UK it's likely to be priced as a luxury product - so the freebie is worth the effort.

Free T-shirt
Marks & Spencer is offering a free T-shirt for anyone who buys a £10 pair of swim shorts by the end of 18th June. Both are available in a huge number of sizes and colours, so there should be something to suit most people.

Free lipstick
Bobbi Brown is offering free samples of its new Art Stick Liquid Lip - which is a tube of liquid lip colour. You can pick yours up at its concessions in John Lewis stores, and they comes with a lesson in how to find the perfect lipstick - so you might needs to set aside five minutes or so when you go to get yours.
