Canny Aldi shoppers can pick up six different bottles of award-winning wine for under £30 with the budget store's 'Pick Your Own' deal.

The launch follows Aldi being crowned 'Wine Retailer Of The Year' at the Drinks Retailing Awards, and includes online orders made through its recently-launched eCommerce platform.

"People told us they were excited by the prospect of being able to buy our wines online and that sentiment has been reflected in the surge of visitors to our website, with many of the orders coming from areas of Britain that don't currently have many Aldi stores," says Jonathan Neale, Aldi's joint managing director of buying.

Purchases can also be made in store with more than 125 wines available - here are four of the best for under a fiver each.
