The company where you'll have to walk 10,000 steps a day

You'll be rushed off your feet...

But what if that company wanted you to stand through that long meeting, and all meetings and walk... a lot.

Mashable reports an un-named tech company in China requires their employees to clock 10,000 steps a day.

And there won't be any cheating either, employees have to download the WeChat messaging app which syncs your steps.

A recent new hire of the company told the Chongqing Evening News: "I think I can do my job, why should I need to walk?"

But being the 'new person' comes with enough stress - like actually doing the job.

So this new employee ditched his car and walked the 20 minutes to the train station.

There is a reason to this madness as the nameless company suggested its employees, though young, are showing sub health status.

The only thing is that it's not entirely clear what happens if you don't clock in the required steps.
