Lotto rollover jackpot set to hit £26m on Wednesday

Updated

The jackpot for Wednesday's Lotto has surged to £26 million after there was no winner in Saturday's draw.

The winning Lotto numbers were 42, 14, 16, 46, 51 and 25 with the bonus number 53 - however, no ticket holder matched all six main balls.

Three players matched five of six main balls and the bonus, winning £31,748 each.

Set of balls number five was used in draw machine Merlin, Camelot said.

There were no winners in the Lotto HotPicks under the same numbers.

In the Thunderball draw the numbers were 09, 26, 23, 32 and 02 and the Thunderball was 06. No player matched all five main numbers to scoop the £500,000 prize.

Under National Lottery rules Wednesday's Lotto jackpot will "roll down" if it goes unclaimed again.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at The National Lottery, said: "The £26 million Lotto jackpot has to be won on Wednesday.

"If no-one matches all six numbers then the huge prize will be shared between players winning in the next tier.

"It is these draws that players love and help to raise more than £36 million every week for National Lottery projects across the country.

"Good luck to everyone, and remember to get your tickets early so you're in with a chance."
