House from Mrs Doubtfire on sale for $4.45 million

The iconic home from the 1993 classic film Mrs Doubtfire is now on the market.

The property can be found at 2640 Steiner Street in San Francisco and the Pacific Heights home served as the primary set for the Academy Award winning film.

In the film the late Robin Williams played an estranged husband who disguises himself as a nanny to see his kids.

The four bedroom, three and a half bathroom house has been dramatically renovated but there's no denying its unmistakable charm is still very much alive.

Even the hallways Mrs Doubtfire kept dust free remain just as they were.

The current owner purchased the residence in 1997 for almost $1.4 million (£1.08 million) and is said to be kind to tourists who are hoping to catch a glimpse of the iconic home.

This iconic piece of movie history could be yours for a cool $4.45 million (£3.43 million).

The 1993 film won an Oscar for Best Makeup and a Golden Globe award for Best Motion Picture while Robin Williams picked up the Best Actor Golden Globe.
