If you need an excuse to make the most of the summer - and get out and about any time the sun shows itself - then you need these freebies. We have free breakfast drinks for those who like to get an early start, free kids' meals for those who don't like to pack a picnic, free drinks for rehydration, free kids' activities to head for, and free headphones for your entertainment on the go.

Free headphones
This is another freebie from the O2 Priority app - available to anyone on the O2 mobile network (including pay-as-you-go users). You just need to pop into an O2 store, show the code from the app, and pick up a free pair of Ghostbusters in-ear headphones worth £12.99. There are two things to bear in mind though. The first is that they are only available at selected stores, so you'll need to check the website or the app before you go. The second is that there are 30,000 available, and deals like this tend to go fast, so go sooner rather than later.

Free Breakfast drink
Quidco is offering users a free Up & Go breakfast drink from Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda or Waitrose. Until Tuesday, you can pop in and buy one for £1, then upload the receipt to the website and get a refund

Free kids' activities
The users of HotUKDeals.com have discovered that for the next three Saturdays, The Entertainer toy shops are offering free in-store activities related to Finding Dory. This week is 'Pick your favourite character & take part in a Swiggle Fish Race', the week after is 'Learn to Speak Whale with Dory', and the final week will let you do both these activities again - along with 'Guess What Colour Chat & Change Hank is going to be'. Once you have completed three challenges, you will get a free Finding Dory collectible. If you have kids of the right age, this should get you out of the house for free - as long as you can resist the pester power when you get there.

Free kids' meals
The Real Greek is offering a free kids' meal for every adult eating on Sundays (as long as the adult spends at least £10). Any child under the age of 12 can get a free meal, plus a drink and an ice cream. This would usually set you back £6.75, so is a decent saving. To take advantage, you need to visit the offers page on the website, and then either print a voucher out or show it to staff on your smartphone.

Coke
Coke Zero has had a makeover, so it's now called Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and is meant to taste more like Coca-Cola Classic. The users of HotUKDeals.com have discovered that to encourage people to try it, Coke is giving away free 500ml bottles. You just visit the website, enter your details, and a coupon will be emailed to you. You then have two weeks to spend it.
