Visit every location from Game of Thrones for less than £500

The latest series may have just ended, but die-hard Game of Thrones fans can put withdrawal symptoms on hold by visiting all of the iconic sites featured in the popular TV show.

You can now make your own way around famous sites such as Winterfell, Braavos and Mereen.

The best part is that it won't cost as much as you may think. Voucherbox.co.uk has helped fans out by researching the cost of taking the ultimate Game of Thrones themed holiday this summer.

Fans from the UK can visit every set location from season six in Northern Ireland, Croatia and Spain, and still have change from £500.

Dubrovnik's Western Harbour in Croatia was used as the location from King's Landing while Kastel Gomilica in Croatia's Dalmatia was used as the setting for Braavos.

Closer to home, all of the Winterfell scenes were filmed in Northern Ireland and the epic battle that resulted in the demise of Ramsey Bolton was filmed at the Moneyglass Estate in County Antrim.

The setting for the fictional city of Mereen is actually Far de Mesa De Roldan in Almeria, Spain and Paruq de la Artileria in Castellon.

Voucherbox found that GOT fans living in London could visit all of the Spanish locations for just £277 including flights with Ryanair and bus and train fares.

Making your way to the sites in Northern Ireland is just as affordable. You can find yourself flights to Belfast for just £67.71 return and you can enjoy the whole Game of Thrones experience for just £457.

Sadly, fans in other parts of the UK have to pay slightly more with the entire costs coming in at £720 from Manchester, £810 from Bristol and £663 from Glasgow.
