The world's first floating homes three-storey villas complete with underwater rooms are being showcased in Dubai.

The project is called The Floating Seahorse named after the Persian Gulf's endangered species.

The structures are essentially boats without propulsion and will be built using composite material weighing 200+ tons.

The initial prototype was made from steel & it took less than a year to build. In order to make the most out of the fish tank style interior.

A 2 million sq ft coral reef is being made to ensure that homes have the best view. 131 homes are being built and 10 have already been snapped up for $2.7 million each
