A furious husband is getting his own back on his cheating wife by selling all her possessions on eBay.

The Shropshire man, identified as Calibrasteve on the site, first listed his wife's car, a 2004 convertible Smart Roadster. She had run off with his own car - along with her personal trainer - 'who looks just like Beppe out of Eastenders', he says.

He's not exactly complimentary about the car either.

"If somebody doesn't buy it, I'm going to take a hammer to it as it really is a s*****r," he explains. It would, he says, "ideally suit any hairdresser/florist or person with little or no dignity."

But, he adds, "It has had a service and new battery and fresh 12 months MOT which is great because it means you can have a whole year of driving around looking like a prize bellend before the car inevitably breaks in some catastrophic way again."

And as bidding has risen, Calibrasteve has decided to make a clean sweep, auctioning off all the rest of his wife's possessions in one job lot. The collection of designer dresses, shoes and hair tongs is 'taking up vital room I could be using to store booze and porn," he says.

Bidding has reached £1,480 for the car and £225 for the clothes and electricals, and Calibrasteve says he's had many messages of support - including one from the 'real' Beppe.

"If you bump into him, don't be rude to him cos it wasn't the real Beppe she left me for, he just looked like Beppe," he explains.

Cheating spouses certainly need to beware if their car is in their other half's name. Just last autumn, we reported on the US woman who was selling her partner's customised 'Batmobile' Dodge SUV after discovering he'd been seeing another woman.

Earlier this year, indeed, one woman went even further after discovering that her husband was planning to go away on a 'business' trip with another woman. She put their house - which was in her name alone - on the market in secret and sold it to a professional landlord.

Her husband arrived back from New York to find the house full of students.
