Sleeping on the job is generally frowned upon, but, generally, bosses aren't as cool as Virgin founder Richard Branson.

According to NDTV, while visiting an airport in Australia, Branson found one of his employees taking a nap on the couch.

The business tycoon couldn't resist taking his picture with the snoozing worker.

Branson posted the photo on a company blog and wrote, "I popped into the office and the airport to say hello and check in to see what the team are up to.

"This guy wasn't up to much at all - I caught him sleeping on the job! Wow, did he get a shock when I woke him up. He must have thought he was dreaming because he went straight back to sleep."

He also noted "To be fair, he was on standby, getting some much needed rest."

Branson has been busy Down Under, meeting the staff and customers of his many brands, also writing on the blog he said: "Having just spent a few days visiting our wonderful companies, I can say that the spirit of Virgin is alive and well Down Under. "

Richard Branson started Virgin in 1970 and the first endeavour to become part of the business was Virgin Records.

Since then Branson has launched Virgin Atlantic Airways, Virgin Mobile, Virgin Trains and Virgin Active among others.
