Summer means something different to everyone. For some, it's all about sitting in a beer garden drinking a cold pint, for others it's best celebrated at a music festival, and for still more it doesn't get any better than when you're relaxing on the beach. Whatever summer means to you, we have the freebies to help you enjoy it for less - or indeed for nothing.

Free pint

Freebie Supermarket has spotted that you can claim a free pint of either Stella Artois or Carling from a pub near you. Just visit the free pint website using a smartphone or tablet, and click the button for a voucher. You can then use it in any participating pub. The deal runs out on Sunday 29th May.

Free festival
The users of HotUKdeals.com have spotted a free festival taking place in Coventry from 1st to 3rd July. The line-up for the Godiva Festival includes The Charlatans, Boomtown Rats and Scouting for Girls. You don't need to pre-register or get a ticket, because you can just turn up on the day for free.

Free groceries
Play Pennies has spotted a number of great freebies if you're shopping online at Sainsbury's - including some refreshing Innocent coconut water for a cool drink on a hot day or a hot cup of tea for an English summer day. All you need to do is set up an online order, then you can add the freebies, and get £7.60 worth of groceries for free.

Free beach towel
Admittedly this one requires an outlay, but you can get a free DKNY beach towel when you buy any DKNY perfume at The Perfume Shop (of 50ml or more). It's not cheap, and the Be Delicious Electric Loving Glow will cost you £37, but if you were going to buy it anyway, you may as well get a freebie thrown in.

Free Financial Plan
And finally, it's not fun in the sun, but it definitely falls into the category of fixing the roof while the sun shines. VouchedFor, the reviews website for financial and legal professionals, is offering free financial plans. If you sign up online, you'll get a call from one of the site's top rated IFAs, who will talk to you about your current plans and goals. Then two weeks later, you'll get a report in the post. The site says this sort of review would normally cost £500, and on average the reviews done so far have saved people £2,275 each as a result of the advice.
