Popular fast food chain KFC, along with marketing giant Ogilvy & Mather, has produced edible nail polish for customers in Hong Kong.
The nail polish comes in two flavors and colors: Original and Hot & Spicy.
John Koay, creative director for Ogilvy & Mather, said in a statement: "The recipe for our edible nail polish is unique and was specifically designed to hold the flavor, but to also dry with a glossy coat similar to normal nail polish.
He then added: "This campaign is designed to be intriguing and fun to increase excitement around the KFC brand in Hong Kong."
Unsurprisingly the fast food chain has also used it's famous slogan on the polish bottles.
Both colours are decorated with 'It's finger licking food' on the reverse side, keeping the product on brand.
Although the colours may look nice enough in the pictures, it seems there not quite all they seem in reality.
Juliana Liu from the BBC's Hong Kong team put the nail varnishes to the test recently and wasn't all that happy with the results.
Because the product is made entirely of edible ingredients they only last five days and must be refrigerated.
So, if you're hoping for a long lasting finish it might be best to stick to the well established, better known brands!
