An incredible rooftop apartment once owned by Hugh Grant is up for sale once again, offering 360 degree views of London.

The top-floor apartment in Harrington Gardens, South Kensington, is the ultimate bachelor pad. It boasts a 100-foot roof terrace with a jacuzzi big enough for six - and no neighbours that can possibly overlook it. There's also a separate private gym.

From the terrace, the lucky buyer will have spectacular 360-degree views, looking out over the Victoria & Albert and Natural History museums, the London Eye and the Shard, and beyond.

The 4,664 square foot apartment is the perfect party house, boasting a single, huge reception room that measures 31 feet by 28. If that's not enough, through a bank of French windows is the terrace, which includes a summer/winter veranda. This contains an outside kitchen and TV, and there are surround sound and touch control electronic blinds to close the space in as an extra entertaining room.

The three-bedroom apartment features double height vaulted ceilings running through the middle, hung with seven spectacular custom-made crystal chandeliers. It's decked out in grandstyle, with solid dark American walnut throughout, Calacatta marble in all four of the bathrooms and Calacatta gold marble in the kitchen, which is fitted with a custom made Hamptons-style American kitchen with Sub Zero and Gaggenau appliances.

The interior finishes include endless bevelled mirrors in all rooms, silk satin bespoke curtains, dark wood slatted blinds, custom-built beds and silk fabric headboards. There are three sets of grand, three-metre-high bevelled glass salon doors and silk rug carpeting.

The price of the apartment is only available on application from agents Knight Frank - if you need to ask, you probably can't afford it. But when Hugh Grant bought it in 2002, he paid £3.25 million, selling up a year later for £3.5 million. Since then, the apartment's been completely refurbished and interior designed by an internationally acclaimed interior design team.

Since selling up, Grant has bought a medieval mansion in the Cotswolds, close to former flame Liz Hurley, for £2 million. Now a father of three, he says becoming a father has changed him. The mothers of his children both live close to his Fulham house, and he says he sees his children most days.
