Sometimes the only freebies on offer seem to be those things you'd never normally use. However, this week we have a number of things which could come in very handy indeed - from cookies to bus tickets, pet food and clothing vouchers.
We also have free eyelash curlers - which are somewhat less essential... unless you're Kim Kardashian.
Free bus day pass
Arriva is running 'Catch the Bus Week' between 28 April and 4 May. To help people join in for free, they are offering a free day saver ticket to give you travel all day for nothing. You just need to download the Arriva app
, enter the code 4343 and choose the day you want your free ticket for. This is available anywhere in the country that runs Arriva services.
Free eyelash curlers
InStyle magazine is offering Eyeko eyelash curlers for free when you buy the latest issue. The magazine will set you back £3.90 - but the curler usually costs £12 so this is a decent saving - for anyone who was hankering after an eyelash curler.
There's another great offer available through the O2 Priority Moments ap
. All you need is a free O2 sim and a smartphone to download the deals and there are a number of nice freebies at the moment. One of the best is a free cookie from Millies Cookies - although you can also get a free light-up keyring torch from Halfords (worth about £5).
Free pet food
The users of HotUKdeals.com
have discovered you can get free pet food samples from Trophy Pets. You just order them online
and they'll deliver one sample per pet (up to three samples). However, it's worth bearing in mind that if they have a local rep, they'll deliver the samples in person, so you could be subjected to the hard sell if you're unlucky.
Free H&M voucher
H&M is promoting its 'long live fashion' initiative again, and if you are a regular H&M shopper it's worth giving a try. Just pack up a bag of unwanted clothes and hand them into the store for them to recycle and in return you'll get a free voucher for £5 off when you spend £30 or more. You can hand in as many bags as you like, although you can only use one voucher with each purchase. You can also pop online and sign up for the newsletter
- which will give you 25% off one item in your next online order.
