Saturday's Grand National Horse Race has a record prize fund worth £1 million and Monbeg Dude has made the bookies' top 5 pick to win on the famous Aintree course. The winner of the Welsh National in 2013, Monbeg Dude is co-owned by Gloucester rugby legends Mike Tindall, James Simpson-Daniel and Nicky Robinson.

"In the 2003 Rugby World Cup Final against Australia, we waited until Jonny Wilkinson kicked that injury time drop goal to celebrate the win," says Mike Tindall. "But Monbeg Dude's incredible recovery from a cracked pelvis makes us feel like we've already won this weekend."

Having achieved so much on the field during his career, horse racing is just one of the amateur pursuits Tindall enjoys. The former England captain has been involved with UK charity Rugby for Heroes since 2011, became a brand ambassador with award winning Forex broker UFXMarkets in January 2014 and will host his Second Annual Celebrity Golf Classic at the Celtic Manor Resort in May.
