You can get into films for free, if you're willing to take a chance on the tickets you get. organises preview film screenings and sends out free tickets for them. All you have to do is enter your details online and you'll be sent a code for free tickets to preview screenings.

Free football skills session

Tesco has teamed up with the FA to arrange free football sessions for children of primary school age. Just visit the website, search under your postcode, and click 'free holiday sessions'. It will show you where your free taster session is available and let you sign up.

Free headphones

Users of have discovered that you can get free Sennheiser MX300 headphones from Richer Sounds. All you have to do is join the VIP club online. At the moment new members are sent a voucher for £10 off when you spend £100 or more. However, the bargain-hunters have posted the headphones voucher online, so once you have joined the club you can print off the voucher and take it to your nearest store for your freebie. You have until 17 February to redeem it.

Free dishwasher tabs

Finish is offering some free samples at the moment. Just fill in your details online and you'll get a couple of tablets for nothing. It's not exactly over-generous, but it's free, and it beats washing up.

Free Sky Sports day pass to watch Capital One Cup Final

You don't have to fork out for Sky TV to watch the final, because Capital One is offering a one-day pass to Now TV Sports for free. All you have to do is go to the Facebook page, click on the link, fill in your details, and the code will appear on the screen.

It's available until 2nd March, but it's worth doing as soon as possible, because it will only be available to the first 250,000 people who apply. If you want to watch it on TV you'll need a Now TV box - but there's nothing to stop you using the code to watch on a computer or tablet. The users of also point out that if you prefer, you can use the code on an alternative day, so you could watch Formula 1.
