Woman shocked to get $3k water bill

Recently, a woman in Rogersville, Tennessee was left shocked after opening her water bill totalling over $3,000.

78-year-old Betty Luster typically paid $40 a month for water. In September 2013 her bill shot up to $90. Luster soon realised that a steady leak under her house was to blame for the dramatic increase in her water bill. Although she had the leak repaired, it was too late and her next bill totalled over $3,000.
