As the Christmas shopping frenzy continues apace, we have shopping discounts to ease the pain, free breakfasts to keep your energy up, and a cunning deal available to anyone donning a Santa suit this year.
So you've no excuse for barring the door and refusing to join the fray.
Free coffee and croissant
Paul, the bakery chain, is offering a large coffee and either a croissant or a pain au chocolat to everyone who signs up for a loyalty card. According to the users of hotukdeals.com
, you'll need to pop into a branch and pick up the card, then register it online, and you'll get your freebie. There's no purchase required, so it could be the perfect way to kick-start your shopping trip.
The Body Shop
There are always deals going at The Body Shop, so we don't tend to mention them all that often. However, for Christmas they have upped the discount to 45% off - which makes it worth a look for Christmas. You just need to use the vouchercodespro
code at the online checkout to get the deal. It's valid until 2nd December.
Lidl £5 off £35
The discount supermarket is running another of its Facebook deals. If you like it on Facebook
, and complete a questionnaire, you'll get a £5 voucher which you can print off and spend on anything in store until 1 December. It might be a useful way to start stocking up for Christmas.
The high-end department store is not usually known for its bargains, but it's running a Christmas shopping weekend, which may make it worth a detour. According to Vouchercloud
it is advertising 20% off most things, and 10% off beauty, fragrance and wine. The deal runs until Sunday and is available online or in store (although online you'll pay £4.95 delivery). The only caveat is that the full terms and conditions are not available online, so it's not entirely clear where the 20% discount applies and where you'll only get 10% off. It means you'll need to pick out what you want and fill out your details before entering the voucher code and discovering whether the discount is worth it.
If your artificial Christmas tree could do with a bit of refreshing, you can take advantage of a deal in Ikea from 6 December. If you pop down and buy a Abies Nordmanniana Christmas tree for £25, you'll get a voucher for £20 to spend on anything in store between 20 January and 9 February. There are only two caveats. One is that although the deal technically runs until 22 December, there's a reasonable chance that the trees might run out if you leave it too late. The second is that the deal isn't running at the Croydon, Cardiff and Bristol stores.
Freebie for Santa
If you're regularly called on to don a Santa suit, then it might not be quite so fresh as the day you bought it. If yours could do with refreshing, Morrisons is offering free dry cleaning for all Santa suits in store.
