UK to import higher wheat volumes

The UK is set to import higher than normal volumes of wheat for the second year running after a small English crop this year, farmers have said.

But a high-quality wheat crop means more of what has been harvested in England will be of value to the food industry, the National Farmers' Union (NFU) said.
