A third of Brits want an indoor pool

women in poolMore than a third (36%) of Brits would like an indoor swimming pool in their dream home.

But research from Ocean Finance shows many other top features are actually quite moderate. The second most popular "dream home" feature is an ensuite bathroom with 39% of women, compared to 25% of men wanting one.


The split between the sexes is actually quite evident throughout this research, with over three times the amount of women (37%) compared to men (12%) dreaming of a walk-in wardrobe.

Ian Williams from Ocean Finance said: "It's fun to think about dream home features but actually, they don't have to just be in the imagination. Many of our aspirations are actually quite modest - adding an ensuite or a shed, for example, can often be quite achievable.
