Time-poor rushing finance decisions

Important financial decisions are being rushed, with people spending more time choosing a TV supplier than a savings policy, according to new research.

A survey of 2,000 adults by NFU Mutual found that one in five admitted they did not spend as much time as they should on financial matters.

Many said they did not have enough time, but most of those polled said they did not always trust financial advice they were given.

The report said many people were suffering from "decision fatigue", with a wealth of options to consider in everyday life, ranging from buying goods or services to making investment plans.
