Hotels in chain undergo £57m refit

Hotel chain Travelodge has embarked on a £57 million makeover that will see it refit an average of 50 rooms a day for the next 18 months.

It will start with nearly 2,000 rooms at seven hotels, including the 641 rooms at its flagship hotel in London's Covent Garden and sites at Gatwick Airport, Birmingham and Lincoln.%VIRTUAL-SkimlinksPromo%
