Michelle Keegan slams 'disgusting' thieves for stealing dog

Michelle Keegan has slammed the "disgusting" thieves who stole a dog in "broad daylight".

The actress threw her support behind the hunt for the missing pet by sharing details of the cocker spaniel recently taken from an Essex garden during the afternoon of 2 April and urged her followers to help find the pup.

"Any information PLEASE get in touch...," she wrote after posting photos of Brandy and resharing the missing dog post on her Instagram Stories. "This gorgeous dog was stolen in broad daylight from her owners garden... it's just DISGUSTING."

Michelle has two dogs with her husband Mark Wright; Pip the chihuahua and a dachshund called Phoebe and often posts cute photos of the pets on her social media accounts, and they even have their own Twitter account.

Over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, the 33-year-old star shared a snap of her smiling and enjoying the sunshine as she posed outdoors with Pip.

Details about the car the dog thieves were travelling in have been shared, and the worried owner thanked followers for their support while confirming police were also assisting their search.

"I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has commented, liked and shared my story," the owner said on social media.
