Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – now formally known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – have reportedly signed a two-year lease for a second home in the Cotswolds.

The couple are currently waiting for renovations on their two-bedroom home, Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace, to be completed and simultaneously are said to be eyeing up a period property near Oxford.

Located just an hour and a half’s drive from London, the home – known as WestfieldLarge – is part of the Great Tew Estate.

The secluded house sits pretty on the same 4,000-acre grounds as Soho Farmhouse where the pair reportedly enjoyed several romantic dates and if they make the big move, their neighbours will include wedding guests, David and Victoria Beckham.

It is widely speculated that Queen Elizabeth II will eventually gift the newlyweds a house as a wedding present, as she did for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Back in 2013, Her Majesty gifted the couple Anmer Hall in Norfolk where the pair regularly stay with their three children.

It is thought that Harry and Meghan will eventually be given York Cottage which is also part of the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

And with Bicester Village just a few minutes driving distance from their new home, eagle-eyed royal fans are sure to spot Meghan out and about in the near future.
