If there's one thing that is guaranteed to bring us serious joy every festive season, it's the food.
The store really does want to take the hassle out of the food hunt at Christmas which is why the M&S brilliant Food to Order section is back offering everything you need to make your Christmas soirée special, whether it's dinner for the family or drinks and nibbles with friends — or both.
Think starters and party food (the British Outdoor Bred Pork Garnish Selection and Baked Brie EnCroute caught our eye as did the Handcrafted Christmas Sausage Roll Garland and the Smoked Salmon Wreath with Honey, Pomegranate & Orange Glaze) to cheeseboards and different sized turkeys.
Then there are the fabulous festive extras like Handmade Chocolate Pine Cones, an almost-too-good-to-eat Winter Berry Cheesecake, plus the icon that is Colin in this year's adorable iteration: Christmas Jumper Colin the Caterpillar.
The special Christmas food site is split into easily navigable sections, making it a breeze to search for turkeys, other main courses (like beef, pork, salmon), side dishes, desserts, cheese as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
Gone are the days when you had to schlep around various stores in your struggle to find all the essentials. The M&S food-to-order option means you can get everything you need for an unforgettable feast without even leaving the house until the day you collect it.
Simply click and add what you want to your online basket, pay a non-refundable £50 deposit (the balance is paid when you collect your festive feast), then book a collection date and time (21-24 December).
No need to worry about freshness or things going off, either — unless specified, all the food is guaranteed to stay fresh until at least Boxing Day.
They really have thought of everything so we don't have to.
