Man trapped on glass bridge after strong wind shatters glass panels

A man was trapped on a glass bridge after strong winds shattered the panels in northern China.

The man was seen leaning against the guardrail and squatting on the bridge.

Fortunately, he managed to climb back to safety with the help of staff at the scene.

It’s reported that the wind reached speeds of up to 88 mph on the day, breaking the historical record.

At present, the bridge has been completely closed and the relevant authorities will carry out a thorough safety inspection of all the facilities.

It’s understood that in order to attract more visitors, more glass bridges have been built in mountainous sightseeing spots in recent years in China.

The video was filmed in Piyan Mountain Scenic Spot of Longjing City on May 7 and provided by local media.
