Loose tyre smashes into car's windscreen after falling off truck

A tyre smashed into the front windscreen of a car after it fell off a truck on a motorway in eastern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province on March 13, shows the left rear tyre suddenly falling off a truck driving along a highway and smashing into the front windscreen of a car driving behind.

The front windscreen and the car's roof were damaged but no one was injured, reports said.

The truck driver was blamed for the incident as the operating parts on the vehicle did not meet the technical standard.

The case is under further investigation.
