  • The Michael Lee-Chin Crystal, a $30 million gift from Lee-Chin to the ROM, is part of the museum’s renovation and expansion project. The Lee-Chin Crystal is composed of five interlocking prismatic structures made of glass and aluminium strips. Scary stuff.

  • Located in the center of Berlin, The Humboldt Box is a futuristic, five-storey museum structure designed by architectural firm KSV Krüger Schuberth Vandreike. However it’s been branded an ‘ugly block’ with the ‘charm of a dumpster’ and ‘the most useless building in the city’. Ouch!

  • Prague TV Tower stands at 216 metres in height and provides a panoramic view of the city. While the tower was built in 1985-1992, the baby sculptures which appear to be crawling up and down the structure weren’t added until 2000. Cool, or just plain creepy?
