  • Known for hosting the second largest parade in the world, Savannah Georgia has been hosting two weeks of St. Patrick's Day festivities. Think marching bands and drum corps direct from Ireland. This family-friendly event winds its way through historic downtown Savannah.

  • New York City has been home to an annual St Patrick's Day parade since 1762, and this year marks the 250th New York City St Patrick's Day Parade.   • Australia might seem a long way to go to celebrate St Patrick's Day but the people of Sydney like to push the boat out. The St Patrick's Parade starts at is followed by a Family Day in Sydney's Hyde Park, featuring a children's area with bouncy castle, face-painting and storytelling, as well as Irish music, dance, food and drink.

  • San Francisco's 160th annual St Patrick's Day Parade featured an array of Irish culture in the form form of live performance and entertainment, arts and crafts, food and much more. Around 5000 participants attend - SF becomes one big party.
