"If you'd like anymore evidence that Britain has become a rip off theme park. Lands End - an opportunity to purchase tat and visit a couple of rubbishy displays. You even have to pay to stand by the famous Lands End sign. This after paying a fiver to park in a field. Avoid."
"A pile of large bricks in the middle of a field....seen from a distance as you are not allowed to get closer. Honestly, I despair at the abysmal nature of the monument and how people are drawn from across the Globe to circle around at a distance, what must be the dullest sight in England. Best time to view is when it's raining and cold and windy, so you get the real feeling of futility of the building site called Stonehenge."
"Why would you go to a place like this? Can't you find a commercialized collection of dime stores selling bric-a-brac closer to home? Do you really need to be jostled by other tourists to be happy? Go sit in a park, or to a museum."
"Spent a small fortune and was surrounded by screaming hordes of kids running wild seemingly unsupervised and security was at a minimum. Never again and still very dated - kids didn't know half the models."
"Very long wait... like three hours standing in the sun
when we arrived was very crowded and the area needs to have clearer directions as to arrive to bathrooms....by the way 30 mins to use the ladies."
"It was ok but it rained and the tram that took us up had no side windows, we had umbrellas up inside! You have to change to another one half way. The Orme is ok but there's not much up there, admittedly decent view but that's about it."
