Eagle swoops in and steals rat from magpie's grasp

A resident in northern China captured the moment an eagle swooped in and stole a rat from a magpie's grasp.

The video, filmed by a man named Liu in Jilin City in Jilin Province on March 19, shows a magpie chasing a rat on a slope.

However, an eagle suddenly flew in and snatched the rat before the magpie could pounce.
