Puppy's inner escape artist caught on camera as he scales playpen

A puppy's inner escape artist was caught on camera as he was filmed scaling his playpen and jumping out.

Footage captured in Phoenix, Arizona shows the pup slowly making his way up the fence, before hopping over the top.

The dog's owner said: "We kept coming home and our puppy would be out of his playpen.

"We couldn't figure out if he was getting under the playpen or sneaking through the door, so we finally decided to videotape him while we were gone.

"We were shocked when we found out the answer and how he was really escaping."
