Zebra wriggles free from jaws of crocodile while crossing river in Kenya

Dramatic footage shows the moment a zebra manages to wriggle free from the jaws of a crocodile while crossing a river in southern Kenya.

As a herd of zebra cross the Mara River, near the Masai Mara National Reserve, one is hunted down and struggles to move as the reptile clamps down on its leg.

As the pair reach the riverbank, the zebra manages to escape, and it hobbles out of the water as a couple of other zebras take a risky drink from the 395 kilometre river.
