How to dispense Tic Tacs one at a time

If you end up with a pile of Tic Tacs in your hand when you only meant to shake one out of the container, you're apparently doing it wrong.

Reader's Digest notes that the lid is actually specially designed to dispense one piece at a time.

The trick is to turn the container upside down, shake it, then hold onto the box's lid before gently tilting the box back.
