Cyclist slips on ice slamming into a parked van

This is the heart-stopping moment that an unlucky cyclist had a hard collision with a van after skidding on black ice.

The man seemed to be left winded and stunned after trying to wrestle back control of his bike after encountering the potentially lethal patch of ice.

A motorist, who witnessed the accident, comes to his aid before the stunned cyclist retrieves his bike and moves to safety out of the road.

The owner of the video said: "I was sitting at home and heard a loud crash outside, then a knock at my door. The rest you can see on the video."
