What happens to the cats when an entire community in Canada resettles?

In Little Bay Island, Newfoundland, it means a whole bunch of the furry felines will be left behind, roaming the remote area.

The community of 54 permanent residents voted in favour of accepting government financial relocation assistance earlier this year, meaning services such as power and water will be cut off on December 31.
