Can you exercise in make-up?
Many people are afraid to workout wearing make-up for fear that it might damage their skin. This is what dermatologists say:
Supposedly, make-up can block the pores causing irritation or spots, but dermatologist, Dr Fayne Fray, says that this isn't supported by the science. Dr Fray says that it is, safe to wear make-up and go to the gym or for a run.
The problem isn't in the combination of sweat and make-up, but rather in the products you use on a daily basis. Some of these may contain chemicals that cause acne or irritate sensitive skin.
Numerous research studies have also confirmed that there is no link between sweat and make-up causing bad skin.
