Woman in her thirties given devastating early-onset dementia diagnosis

A woman in her 30s who left university to care for her doctor dad is aiming to run the 2019 London Marathon to raise awareness of early on-set Alzheimer's, after she was diagnosed with the same disease.

Laura Sides, 36, from Norwich, found out in 2017 that she had the APP gene, meaning she'll develop the same condition as her father, who died in 2009.

Laura has been told that she could start to display symptoms within the next 10 years.

You can find out how she's dealing with the disease in the video above.
