While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might be waiting to move to their new home Frogmore Cottage before their baby arrives, it seems that they’ve snapped up another pad in the interim.

The couple are currently living in Nottingham Cottage within Kensington Palace, but according to The Sun, they’re also renting a place in the Cotswolds.

The 18th century Grade II listed farmhouse is reportedly worth £2.5 million and boasts four bedrooms, one of which has been converted to a dressing room.

An attached barn conversion features a double kitchen, plus a sitting area with floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a large dining room, plus an outdoor seating area.

The country bolthole also comes with a separate two-bedroom cottage within the grounds for staff or guests.

According to The Sun, Harry and Meghan began renting the property early last year on a two-year lease and moved in just before their May wedding.

They are believed to have played host to a number of celebrity friends at their Cotswold home, including George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and Priyanka Chopra.

A source told the newspaper: “It’s a fabulous place with stunning views and extraordinarily private.

“It’s set in a small bowl of beautiful countryside so is not overlooked in any way.

“Meghan adores the area. She and Harry love walking the dogs there, and they can entertain their friends in complete solitude.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Birkenhead in Merseyside for a number of engagements on Monday 14 January.
