There's an official day most people give up on their New Year's resolutions - and it's as soon as next week!

Strava, the social network for athletes, monitored more than 31.5m online activities across the globe and found that January 12 is when most people report failing their resolution.

Just 8% of people achieve their New Year's goals, according to University of Scranton researchers.

You're more likely to fail if you're unrealistic in your expectations. Experts say it's all about how you set your resolutions - don't make too many changes all at once; start slowly; write down your goals; and get friends and family involved.

Posting on social media will also keep you accountable, with a sweaty selfie proving that you put in the work!
