The Christmas tree that's worth £2 million

It's billed as "Europe's most-expensive Christmas tree" - and we can't see it having much competition since it is made from £2 million worth of gold coins.

The shiny festive display, on show at Pro Aurum Goldhaus bank in Munich, is constructed from a total of 2,018 coins and topped off with a decorative gold star.

There's not much room for presents underneath it, but then it looks like the budget was blown on the tree anyway!
