London gets its first vegan fish-and-chip shop

Vegan food is more popular than ever - but take-away food options are usually confined to a veggie burger or maybe some falafel.

One eaterie in East London (of course) is changing that however, with a traditional British fish-and-chip shop menu entirely made up of Vegan options.

Sutton and Sons' proprietor Daniel Sutton explained to Reuters that it began as an option on the menu at a normal chippy he also runs.

He said: "We thought we'd produce something vegan and see how it goes. It went really well, so we introduced a full menu.

"It's tough out there on the high street, and if people want vegan fish and chips, I'll supply it."
