Nando's unveils unique new Christmas burger - and it's gone all posh

When it comes to December, it seems like literally everything is Christmas-themed. From our sandwiches, to our streets lights, to our extra-hot Nandos.

The South African restaurant has just released it's festive burger, and it's nothing like your traditional Christmas editions.

Far from its usual chips and garlic bread offerings, the chicken restaurant appears to have gone rather upmarket with its festive burger, which includes a mushroom and chestnut pate on to of crispy onions, cranberry sauce, a festive slaw and, unsurprisingly, a peri-peri chicken breast fillet and flame grilled thigh.

Called 'the Mzansi Christmas Burger', Nando's festive burger takes on all the traditional Christmas flavours, combined with their statement spice.

Launching tomorrow (December 1) in Nando's restaurants all around the country, the intriguing burger will set you back £9.25 on its own, £10.95 with one regular side, and £12.65 with two regular sides.

Meanwhile, Byron have gone for cheesemas, and created a burger that contains five different types of cheese, while MEATLiquor have made an insane burger that contains a five bird roast.
