'Cat Cop' of Florida rescues all the stray felines she finds along her patrol route
Gretchen Byrne was taking a coffee break while patrolling on the midnight shift for the Coral Springs Police Department two years ago, when a hungry and pregnant female cat approached her in the shopping centre parking lot.
She took it back to the station and shared images of it on Instagram, ultimately finding it a new home.
She has since rescued over 65 cats and has 20,000 followers on social media who follow their progress. Find out more on the heartwarming story above.
