Tired of boring-looking suitcases? The American Tourister Bon Air comes in a variety of vibrant colours, and is something you'll be proud to claim from the baggage carousel. It has four wheels for easy manoeuvrability, and is reasonably spacious and light for a hard case. The durable shell is sturdy enough to take some rough handling, though some reviewers noted that it's prone to light scuffing.

3. Eminent Move Air Medium Size Suitcase

Skyscanner recently put a range of suitcases through their toughest test yet – dropping a car on them! The Eminent Move Air was one of only three to survive. After pushing out the dents, the case was in such good condition, that the reviewers used it to carry their film gear back to base. As well as being surprisingly robust, the case features four sturdy double-spinner wheels, a telescopic handle and carry straps on both top and side, and a combination TSA lock.
